False ceiling is one of the best architectural elements. It makes the room look stylish. The singular parameter while planning a false ceiling is choosing the right material for durability. Gypsum board false ceilings are commonly used because of low cost, and ease of installation. PVC board is a type of rigid plastic panel. They are lightweight, and are resistant to moisture and temperature changes. Wooden boards are manufactured from wood veneers and particleboard. These materials are glued together using heat and pressure and a grid ceiling in the bathroom for easy access to geysers.
At Reminiscent, design and functionality go hand in hand. We choose lights that are both aesthetic and accessible. While planning a false ceiling, it is of utmost importance to thoroughly understand how many and what lights are we looking at. The size and weight of the fixtures, along with the voltage required to sustain them. We can implement anything between strip lights to huge chandeliers based on the space, look and preference of our customers.
Our designers gather the likes and dislikes of the customer during the briefing; The preferred colour scheme, designs, layout, etc. A combination of all is what our team brings out so beautifully in renders, and eventually in execution. Functional implementations are as important as aesthetics. While designing a bedroom like any other space, it is imperative to list the electrical devices and its placement for easy access e.g., reverse switches – we plan for 1 close to the bed and the other at the entrance to the room. Likewise, we ensure to place AC units in spots that are not directly opposite to the bed, as well as have the space for the exit pipe without disturbing the design. We also make sure to incorporate a high voltage supply – 3 phase system so the load is distributed and isn't a burden on the other electrical items.
At Reminiscent, design and functionality go hand in hand. We choose lights that are both aesthetic and accessible. The layout is first drawn for the customer to showcase usability, and then enhanced accordingly. We incorporate mellow reading lights at bedsides for some me time. Suitable lighting is provided at work stations to help you push through without hurting your eyes. Motion sensor lights are also offered so you don't struggle to find the switch at 2 am.
While designing a bedroom, we keep in mind the room's size, natural daylight, orientation, architectural features and so on, considering the potential benefits they bring. Depending on the space, we pick the bed and wardrobe size and type. Our wardrobes and beds are curated to accommodate the needs of the client. If the client requires a lot of storage, we select a box storage, a drawer or a hydraulic bed. If the space is limited, the wardrobes are mostly slide-in rather than open doors. For guest bedrooms, we plan for a murphy bed so that there is more space
All elements in a room need to come together to make the room complete. If ignored, the cabinets can easily disrupt the togetherness or cohesiveness of a room design. Our designers take you through all the materials, their benefits and guide you into making the right choice. We have laminate, acrylic, vinyl, and lacquered glass to choose from. Materials can also be sourced if needed. Lacquered glass contains very minimal amounts of VoCs, making it safe. It is humidity-resistant and also scratch-proof. If you're looking for a glossy finish acrylic is an option. The non-toxic sheen finish can add the extra appeal to your bedroom. Wardrobes with Vinyl are best when looking for something more affordable.
A bedroom is a haven of tranquillity that you look forward to after a tiring day, a place to curl up with a good book and zone out. The layout of the bedroom is crucial to design. We begin with the room's proportions – this is particularly important when you're looking at small bedrooms. Once we understand how the space will be used, we plan for wardrobes, study units and beds along with the sizes. Depending on the storage requirement, we design for full height wardrobes or loft + wardrobes. Shoe racks are also incorporated if needed. Needless to say, our team ensures that the design allows for seamless movement.
We understand how important your home is to you, and thus as part of our solution offer security installations. All you need to do is pick the spaces and share your concerns, and our team of experts will curate measures to secure your home. We offer security cameras in the living room, dining area, kitchens and exteriors.
Our designers gather the likes and dislikes of the customer during the briefing; The preferred colour scheme, layout, etc. A combination of all is what our team brings out so beautifully in renders, and eventually in execution. Good design has the power to promote a positive mood. In the living and dining space, we mostly pick colours to show more space. Our idea is to complement the natural light with the palette of the living and dining area to make it visually pleasing and inviting. The aim of a smart home is to make life simpler, safer and more comfortable. By being able to control multiple home devices simultaneously, the house can cater to your needs much quicker. Sit in your living and without moving, open or shut the curtains. Gone is the hassle of remembering your keys. And set the lighting to the mood you'd like to be in. At Reminiscent, design and functionality go hand in hand. We choose lights that are both aesthetic and accessible. The layout is first drawn for the customer to showcase usability, and then enhanced accordingly. We plan for dim lights in the TV area for a nice cozy stay-in night, isolated lighting in home offices and other spaces for those private moments when sharing a space, lights of different wavelengths to support any mood through the day and motion sensor lights in bathrooms so you don't struggle to find the switch. Other variants include ambient lights for special artefacts that need to be focused upon.
Living and dining spaces are spots where your tribe gather, and memories are made! So, they deserve to be planned the right way. The first step is to segregate the area into foyer, living and dining areas. The shape of the space plays a pivotal role and determines the arrangement of the interiors. Post finalization, a few parameters are then considered, like the seating around the dining area; bench v/s chairs, the viewing distance from the TV to the couch which is ideally 8 to 10 ft., etc. We also make sure while designing that the dining table is not close to a shoe rack or a lavatory.
Another aspect we understand is that the living room is the most visible, and thus when designing, Reminiscent makes sure that each space is functional, planned for seamless movement, and privacy is taken care of beautifully in all proposed designs.
Our designers post understanding the brief, also try to gather the likes and dislikes of the customer; The preferred colour scheme, types of cabinets, designs, etc. The combination of all is what our designers bring so beautifully in renders, and eventually in execution. In the kitchen, we mostly pick lighter colours to show more space. Our idea is to complement the natural light with the lighter paint colour to make the kitchen look visually pleasing and inviting. The cabinet designs selected are chosen to show the client’s personality, and at same time is inlayed with a Reminiscent touch of surprise that perfectly weaves seamlessly into the overall design.
The kitchen is one of the most used spaces in the house, and we understand that. Thorough planning goes into designing a functional and aesthetic kitchen space. There are 3 major components governing design; layout, entry/exit points and water outlet. The team studies the floor plan, plans the working triangle (stove, refrigerator and sink) and advices the best shape - U-shape, L-shaped, peninsula or island type, and one-wall accordingly. We also plan for proper circulation so not to disrupt the flow of kitchen activities, and movement is seamless.
We have researched the use of the kitchen space by the Indian household in great detail. In the initial meets, the sales and design team understand the dynamics, if the main user of the space prefers closed or open cabinets, drawers or shelves, the type of storage, basis the layout if they’d like a magic corner, etc. Other nuances are taken care of too, a pull-out drawer is provided under the stove area for essentials like oil and dish scrubbers. Any other preferences are also taken care of and executed.
The Kitchen demands a more detailed electrical plan since it has a combination of high and low frequency electrical appliances. These include microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher amongst other things. It is essential to plan the circuit in for these appliances to avoid the risk of loading. When planning your kitchen wiring, we take into account all the white good that you plan to have and suggest position and placement accordingly. Additional light points are also provided for if necessary. Once the items are finalised, the team then allocates and recommends plausible circuit changes to accommodate the chosen design and white goods.
We specialize in creating beautiful countertops, wall panels, etc., and our experts are eager to help you with the design phase to bring out the best. The team checks for hob placement, potential gas- pipe outlet while also considering aesthetics. We understand the need of dado tiles above the kitchen platforms and stove units. We choose tiles that are resilient to oil and also easy to clean and maintain. We provide granite, quartz and Ceaser stone as kitchen countertop options.
At Reminiscent, design and functionality go hand in hand. We choose lights that are both aesthetic and accessible. The layout is first drawn for the customer to showcase usability, and then enhanced accordingly. The classic example of mellow yet bright yellow … lights under the cabinet above the platform are included to check for grains and access such spaces in the night without the need to switch on the entire room or the lighting in cabinets that need to be planned for before wood works.
