Scarlet’s 2BHK home at Engrace 3 by Modern Spaces in Bangalore was envisioned as a calm, contemporary retreat, where thoughtful planning meets subtle luxury.

From the airy living room to serene bedrooms and a streamlined kitchen, this home was crafted with a clear focus on comfort, light, and cohesive design. Every detail was curated to create a sense of flow, making the apartment feel open, warm, and inviting.

The Design Vision: Calm, Contemporary, and Cohesive
Our approach was to build a soft neutral palette and layer it with warm textures, rounded forms, and functional layouts. For this 2 BHK Home for Scarlet in Bangalore, especially in compact urban apartments, visual continuity plays a big role in how spacious a home feels. We kept the base tones consistent across rooms—creamy whites, warm greys, and natural wood—allowing subtle accents to add personality without overwhelming the space.

Living Room: Light, Flow, and Everyday Comfort
A custom TV unit with soft curves and integrated lighting anchors the space, creating a gentle focal point without harsh lines. Cane detailing on the lower cabinets adds texture, while concealed storage keeps the area clutter-free. The neutral upholstery and circular centre table echo the rounded design language, bringing harmony to the room.

Large sliding doors open out to the balcony, allowing natural light to flood in and making the living area feel expansive. This connection to the outdoors was intentionally highlighted—sunlight becomes part of the interior experience.

Kitchen: Streamlined Design with Subtle Warmth
Finished in matte grey cabinetry paired with a light backsplash, the modular layout keeps things clean and contemporary. Handle-less drawers and neatly aligned cabinets maintain visual simplicity, while under-cabinet lighting adds depth and practicality during meal prep.

A small breakfast counter framed in natural wood introduces warmth and acts as a casual transition between the kitchen and living space. Every storage zone—from tall units to base drawers—was planned to ensure smooth movement and everyday ease.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom features a soft upholstered bed paired with coordinated side tables in pastel green. Pops of colour through cushions and artwork bring subtle vibrancy, while warm bedside lamps create a cozy nighttime atmosphere.

A full-height wardrobe with mirrored panels maximises storage while visually expanding the room. The layout ensures generous walking space, keeping the bedroom airy and balanced.

Secondary Bedroom

The second bedroom follows a lighter, more minimal palette, making it versatile for guests or future use. Neutral furnishings, gentle lighting, and clean wardrobe lines keep the space adaptable and serene.

Both bedrooms demonstrate how thoughtful planning and colour coordination can elevate everyday living.

Lighting and Detailing
Across the apartment, lighting plays a quiet but powerful role. Recessed ceiling lights provide even illumination, while accent fixtures and concealed LED strips highlight architectural curves and textures.

Material selections—from flooring to cabinetry—were chosen for durability as well as aesthetics, ensuring the home remains easy to maintain while retaining its refined look.
